Winning $1M Lottery Ticket Sold At Stop & Shop In Hudson Valley

A Stop & Shop visitor in the region left the supermarket with a lot more than groceries.

A second-prize-winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million was sold in Northern Westchester County for the drawing on Friday, Nov. 15, New York Lottery officials announced. 

The lucky ticket was purchased at the city's Stop & Shop in Peekskill at 1831 East Main St. (Route 6), officials added. 

Lottery officials did not make the winner's identity public.

The winning numbers were 05 17 35 55 69 with a Mega Ball of 19. 

If you're hoping to try your own luck, Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. The winning numbers are drawn from one to 70, and the Mega Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 25.
